An Irish Company, Conservation Dogs Ireland, is using these amazing dogs to sniff out Japanese knotweed on sites slated for development. It can be a serious job not without risks. One dog was poisoned after finding knotweed on a site in Belgium. Developers can be shut down until they deal with knotweed infestations. Dogs can detect knotweed 40x faster than humans! NEW PICTURE/Mortilmernee DENMARK/ As I just briefly mentioned yesterday, I’m doing a job for IKEA these days, and that has meant that I have temporarily moved my picture wall. And frankly, here it hangs extremely nice …. In fact, over a long period of time I’ve been tired of the raw wall, but the only reason it’s raw yet is that I know it’s never going to look like this again, so if it’s made nice and becomes painted, then it’s too good.
